What we should hold for aftersales
The minimum to keep aside for spare-parts orders, sized on customer parts sales only. Production stock in the same bin does not count towards it.

Parameters and lead-time defaults
Hold = forecast demand over the supplier lead time + safety stock (95% service) + one review period (30 days). Reorder when stock falls to the lead-time demand + safety. EU holds only critical lines with real EU demand: 28 days' cover, backfilled from the UK at 10 days' worth. Forecast = trend on 24 months, capped at 60–130% of the last 12 months (80–160% for Legacy parts); safety stock is capped at half the lead-time demand.
